Onoway U13 Eagles

Well despite the outcome of Provincials, we are all headed home today with our heads held high! Our boys represent only 1.2% of the U13 players in the province! The fact that they played against the best teams in our province and held our own is amazing! We had compliments from other teams that we were their best competition they faced all season.
They represented their community and organization proudly. At the beginning of the season they set a goal to win their league banner and THEY DID IT!! They won their home tournament, placed in a tournament Sundre, experienced training like a pro with the Oilers staff, and raised food for the local Food Bank. To say that we are proud of their accomplishments this season would be an understatement, and we couldn’t have done it all without the support from our parents, families, fans and community. So a BIG heartfelt THANK-YOU to you ALL ❤️

We had an awesome Tailgate Party before the Opening Ceremonies! Was a nice break to be outside in the fresh, but very windy, air.
