Ending our spring leagues we always play games and during bingo today our little Malcolm got 3-3-9 he is officially our youngest two buck shot winner at only 6 years old !!!! 

Today we received the sad news that the bowling centre in Terrace was destroyed in an early morning fire. For many years this centre was owned and operated by the Mumford family. Currently it was operated by Keith & Theresa Moffat.

While the loss of any bowling centre is terrible news, it is especially devastating in our smaller communities.

Our thoughts are with Keith & Theresa and all of the members of the Terrace bowling community and we hope you can cherish all of your memories at Terrace Bowling Lanes.

In our Thursday night Spring League we have 4 generations of the same family bowling!

Grandpa Lloyd, Daughter Sheila, Granddaughter Esther and Great-Granddaughter Taylor!!

Hmmm, it looks like we are ready for a Bowling Banquet! Tonight is the annual wind-up dinner and awards at Creekside Seniors Centre for the three Big Country Lanes evening bowling leagues!!!

Our team bowled +152 Pins Over Average today to win the GOLD MEDAL!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to our PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONS!!!!

Good luck to our Big Country Lanes team of Jay, his Dad Lloyd, Ken, Hardy and Jerry! They are bowling today at the Bert Hill Senior Classic Provincial Championship being held at Village Lanes in Chase!!!

We have two more winners in our popular Bowl-a-Strike contests!

First, in our Friday 12:30pm Club 55 league, Carol won $216!!!

And tonight in our Sunday 5:30pm league, Deb just won $304!!!

It’s time to join a Spring League at Big Country Lanes!

It’s a short season, all leagues are wrapped up before the end of June!

Youth leagues are Tuesday or Wednesday after school or Saturday morning.

Club 55 No-Tap (13 on the first ball is a strike!) is on Tuesday at 12:30pm

Evening 3-6-9 (everyone receives automatic strikes in the 3rd, 6th & 9th frames!) leagues are Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday!

New bowlers are welcome in all leagues, no experience required!
It’s a great way to meet new friends!
