Our little mello yello horse is catching on to training concepts very quickly, with a calm and willing personality.
Day 3, and we can already brush him all over, including all 4 legs down to his feet and his tail.

Started training today, learning to turn in towards the handler (rather that away into the fence) when changing directions, and starting to stop and face up.

This is often something that we aren't able to do with a wild horse this age until they are well into training (1-2months), but this guy is so chill and willing we were able to get it done on day 3

Getting used to a big saddle with a back cinch and a bridle to prepare for his first ride.
He didn't want to let go of the bit when we took the headstall off, holding it for several minutes đŸ˜†
