Sophia has claimed silver in the Women’s C1 200m at the 2026 ICF Canoe Sprint & Paracanoe World Championships in Poznań!

That makes medal number TWO for Sophia at these Worlds, adding silver to the gold she already captured earlier in the competition! 🥇🥈

Anyone know who owns this boat 🤔? It floated into our bay at the Cascades Club. It’s been leaking styrofoam all the way down the Gatineau River. We’ve secured it and we’ve been straining styrofoam out of the River and we’re asking for help. We’re looking for the owner of the boat. In the meantime, if you think you might be on the water in the area of the Club, please bring a dip net and strain styrofoam from the water. Thanks 😊 and letting our Friends of the Gatineau River / Amis de la rivière Gatineau and Municipalité de Chelsea / Municipality of Chelsea know about the issue 👍
