You can vote today!! Just saying what a great family activity to do ;)

Let me say the quiet stuff out loud today.
--- many 'winning' businesses have closed down
--- many 'losing' businesses have been successful ... still
--- Many of the same 'popular' people spend their days campaigning for this, while the rest have jobs, volunteer, and are just amazing people, but don't have a vast 'network', so they can't get their 40 friends to waste their days voting all the time.

This has not been a fair contest for years, it's not even current in the categories. Just be a good person, run a fair business, and you'll find success in all aspects of life. This 'contest' feeds the ego, it doesn't put cash in your till or more events in your calendar.

Life is won by being good.

This was left attached to my door and as the council will be seeking re-election it’s a good idea to review, consider and, even celebrate things they have done … or not done. But it’s good to consider whether these, or who, can lead Okotoks into the next phase
