Some classes leave you sweaty. Some leave you smiling. Today’s somehow managed both. 🤍

Lauren kept us on our toes with a fun, creative class that mixed things up in all the best ways. We slowed things down, focused on control, and challenged our bodies in a completely different way.

It’s a good reminder that progress isn’t always about moving faster or doing more. Sometimes it’s found in slowing down, moving with intention, and appreciating what your body is capable of.

Safe to say we all walked out feeling stronger, taller, and pretty great afterward.

Today was exactly the kind of morning that reminds me why we do what we do. 🤍

We celebrated World Wellness Week with movement, as Lara guided us through a beautiful reformer class, before gathering together for a thoughtful and inspiring workshop with registered psychotherapist, Sara Tawadros, founder of Graceway Wellness.

Our conversation centered around measuring by grace, looking back at where we started instead of constantly measuring ourselves against where we think we should be. It was such a powerful reminder that growth isn’t found in perfection, but in recognizing just how far we’ve come. When we measure backwards, gratitude has a way of finding us.

To Sara, thank you for sharing your wisdom, your warmth, and for creating such a safe and meaningful space for conversation. Your words resonated deeply, and we’re so grateful you spent your morning with our community.

And to everyone who joined us—thank you. Thank you for showing up, for moving with us, for sharing your stories, and for making Barre Life the community that it is. Wellness is so much more than exercise. It’s connection, perspective, encouragement, and knowing we don’t have to do life alone.

🏃‍♀️ Barre Run Club: Week 3

Current membership: still 2.
Current pace: faster.
Current confidence: cautiously optimistic.

John and I were back at it again this week. Running faster and feeling stronger. Could I be improving, or could it just be the overcast 20-degree weather finally doing me a favour?

John and I always have the best chats while we run, which definitely helps keep me distracted… and alive. 😂 He’s still convinced I’m secretly harbouring Kenyan DNA… they’re world-renowned runners. He loves to tease me.

We’re still only a club of two… for now. 👀 We’ve had a few interested parties (you know who you are 😉). Don’t be shy… come join us! The more the merrier.
