Nothing says Canada Day like a packed studio 🇨🇦

Form Check: Zercher Curtsy Squat 🔥
✅ Keep your front knee in line with your toes throughout the movement
✅ Step back and slightly across while maintaining balance and control
✅ Keep your chest tall and core engaged in the Zercher hold
✅ Push through the full foot of the front leg as you get back to standing
❌ Don’t step so far across that your knees turn outwards
❌ Don’t let your front knee collapse toward the midline ❌ Don’t sacrifice alignment for a bigger range of motion
❌ Don’t rush the lowering phase, control is key

🏋️ SINGLE-ARM DUMBBELL SN**CH FORM CHECK 🏋️
The dumbbell sn**ch is a full-body power movement. The goal isn’t to lift the weight overhead with your arm, it’s to transfer power from your legs and hips into the dumbbell.
✅ Drive explosively through the hips
✅ Keep the dumbbell close to your body
✅ Finish tall before the pull
✅ Punch straight overhead into a stable lockout
✅ Control the weight back to the start position
❌ Swinging the dumbbell out in front of you
❌ Curling or pulling with the arm too early
❌ Turning it into a shoulder/front raise
❌ Skipping hip extension and relying on the upper body
Think: hips first, arm second.
The more power you create from the hips, the lighter the dumbbell feels overhead and the more efficient the movement becomes.
