North Shore Girls Flag Football is proud to be the first all girls flag football program in North Vancouver.
Our program is designed to empower athletes in currently in grades 4-12 through the sport of flag football. Welcome to North Shore Girls Flag Football where we provide a supportive and inclusive environment for girls to participate in flag football. Our program, the first of its kind on the North Shore, focuses on skill development, teamwork, and building confidence in a fun and engaging athletic setting for girls.

āHow do you know youāre doing something right when you build a flag football program EXCLUSIVELY for girls?
When the players who canāt play still show up. ā¤ļø
Injured. On the sidelines. Still part of the team.āāā
Because somewhere along the way, they learned that being part of this flag football team isnāt about checking in when itās your turn to play and checking out when itās not.
Itās about belonging. Supporting your teammates. Showing up. Knowing you matterāand knowing that your teammates matter, too.
And itās about having coaches who create an environment where girls feel seen, supported, challenged and valuedāon the field and off.
Thatās how you know you're on track and your building more than flag football players. You can see evidence of the foundations of teamwork, connection and a love of the game that can last far beyond summer.
Our athletes are showing us that when you create a program specifically to support girls- girls will thrive.
Athletes- Weāre proud of you. And weāre proud of the work weāre doing togetherāwith our coaches and athlete families supporting these girls every step of the way. š

š The Sharks š¦ and Chargers š”meet again for their final flag football game of 2026.
It was rewarding to see athletes on these teams take advantage of every opportunity our summer program offered. We saw athletes who were on the field early for extra time with coaches and teammates, stepped up as paid refereesādeveloping quick thinking, decisiveness and gritāand showed up for each other from the sidelines-even when injured. ā¤ļø
They werenāt just playing the game. They were learning to lead, make decisions, support others and push themselves. Thank you coaches for supporting these athletes and our program focused on the success of young female athletes!!!

The Orange Crushers and Seyhawks showed exactly what we love about our all girls flag football program: social on the sidelines, serious on the field. š„Right, Coach??š¤£
All summer long, these multi-sport athletes were willing to push themselves physically and strategically to compete hard and build greater autonomy in decision-makingāreading the game, trusting themselves and making their own plays.
