💜 Today is International Overdose Awareness Day 💜

You may have noticed the purple chairs in our facilities — currently at Harry Jerome and Karen Magnussen Community Recreation Centres. These chairs are part of the North Shore Homelessness Task Force's Purple Chair Campaign honouring community members lost to the toxic drug crisis. Each one represents someone loved, lost and remembered. They are a year-round tribute and a visible call to action.
