The Monarchs got off to a good start Friday night taking a 2 goal lead after the 1st. The game tightened up for the next 2 periods. But with some great team play at both ends of the ice and great goaltending by Chris. Monarchs held onto the lead, getting the win and widening the gap between 1st and 2nd place in the division.

Coming off the previous win the Monarchs carried that momentum forward looking dominant in the 1st and getting to a quick 3 goal lead. The 2nd period was a different story as the lead slowly disappeared. Starting the 3rd period tied. Monarchss managed to get this back on track and switched the momentum back getting 3 goals and a decisive win.

It was a close game to start off last Fridays double header. Monarchs capitalized on a power play in the 1st ending the period up by 1. A good start to the 2nd and the Monarchs were up by 2. Unfortunately this lead was short lived as 3 hour tour made a quick comeback and we went into the 3rd tied. 3 hour tour got a quick goal to start the period putting them up by 1. Dylan got the tieing goal and the game tightened up. With a few minutes left Rhys put the puck away getting the game winning goal and getting us the win.
