We are super excited to announce our head coach for the 2027 season, Matt Baglieri.
Coach Matt is no stranger to coaching, having many years of success under his belt and immense knowledge of the game!

He will be taking on a new challenge this year with a great group of girls and we look forward to having him lead the way.

This is a 2008-2009 age group.

We would like to take this time to recognize two women that are very special to us!

Coach Cathy and Coach Wendy have been around for many years. Some of our players have been with them as early as mite house league, u11 select and onward.

They have served as coaches, camp coordinators, executive members and so much more. They are the reason why rep softball was not only, able to make its way back to Niagara , but become successful too.

They took a group of select girls and turned them into tier 2, A division level softball players competing with some of the best teams in Ontario.

They’ve coached, guided, lead, and pushed these girls to be the absolutely best that they can be year after year and we are so grateful for them.

It’s not everyday you have two WOMEN who lead your daughters in sport and that’s something we have always been proud of.

It is with sadness we say goodbye to them as coaches, but with full hearts from all they have done for us.

Thank you Cathy and Wendy, it’s your turn to enjoy being moms and watching your daughters behind the backstop now. 🙏

And that’s a wrap on the 2026 season!
Sadly no 3-peat this year but we finished it off with a hard fought bronze medal in the Peel-Halton loop finals.

This team has so much to be proud of this year.
Gold (b) at the Queen of Diamonds
Gold at John Cross
Completing against majority tier 1 teams in loop play
Top 8 in A Pool at Provincials
Bronze in loop finals.

We could not be more proud of these amazing girls and everything they have put into this season. Being a teenage girl is tough and no matter what the battles were they all persevered together, as a team.

While next year will certainly look different, we are grateful for a summer of friendships, inside jokes, parent bonding, parking lot hang outs, team dinners, lots of laughs and cheers and most importantly , watching these girls play the sport they love.

GOLD🥇

Well it’s been an interesting start to start to the season but the real Thundercats showed up this weekend in FULL force!

The bats were 🔥 recording 74 runs in 6 games .

The defense was 🔓 allowing only 25 runs in.

& the fun was 🎉 celebrating JLs bday & a gold medal!

Every girl contributed to this weekends victory and we couldn’t be more proud. Heads way up on this one 💪

Thank you Cambridge for a great weekend, and Kitchener for a great final.
Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there but most especially our Thundercats Dads 🥰

Whole Team Up!

It was an eventful weekend full of ups and downs but these girls persevered and ended up golden !

After a tough showing in the round robin on top of a rain out the girls found themselves in B play for Monday. Every girl showed up to play today and the bats showed up too!

Outstanding pitching from Cora and Claire. Solid catching from Kasey and Alana. Lights out defense from Jane JL and Emma . Strategic bats from Lindsay and Piper as well as steady solid bats from Belle Maddie and Myla. Most notable, a grand slam from Maddie in the gold medal game!

Thank you to all our competition for some great games this weekend and to Brantford for running a great tournament! The largest girls softball tourny in Canada ! 🇨🇦
