⚽ Everything you need to know about the 2026/27 National 1 league Season.

Beginning this season, we’ll be competing in the new National 1 League, providing our players with a higher level of competition and an environment that supports long-term development and exposure.

With U.S. Soccer’s move to school-year age group registration, our program is well positioned for players on both sides of the border, making it easier for Ontario and Western New York players to compete together within the new age-group structure.

We’re proud of the pathways our players have earned over the years, with alumni continuing their careers in NCAA, U SPORTS, professional academies, and clubs in Europe. While every player’s journey is unique, our goal has always been to help players reach their highest potential and providing opportunities

Niagara Surf Soccer Club is proud to join the National 1 League – GLA Conference for the 2026–27 season.

National 1 is a new unified competition platform that brings together the former NPL and US Youth Soccer National League—creating a clearer, higher-level pathway for teams across the country.

For players and families in the Niagara region and WNY region, it means stronger competition, meaningful matchdays, and a regional structure designed to reduce unnecessary travel while keeping the standard high.

The pathway continues beyond league play. Qualifying National 1 teams will earn the opportunity to compete in the ECNL Conference League Playoffs in summer 2027 alongside ECNL Regional League qualifiers, with the top teams progressing to the ECNL Conference League Finals.

Niagara Surf boys’ and girls’ teams are ready for the next step.

🏆Huge congratulations to our U13 Boys Blue on an incredible season.

Tri State Cup Champions and finishing top of the NPL league table — a massive achievement earned through commitment, consistency, and belief.

This result officially qualifies the team for the NPL National Finals in Colorado, where top U13–U19 boys and girls teams compete after qualifying through their member leagues.

Well done coaches , players and parents! The journey continues.
