Congratulations to Border City Bassmasters for their winning bid to host the 2027 Hank Gibson Ontario Bass Nation Provincial Qualifier.
It's OFFICIAL!!!
The Border City Bassmasters, and the City of Windsor, will be the host of the 2027 Ontario BASS Nation Hank Gibson Provincial Qualifier!

🚨ATTN: Classic Qualifiers🚨
Classic waters, Lake Couchiching will be off limits from Monday, August 31 through Friday, September 4.
Pre-fishing for the National Classic # # # will resume Saturday, September 4 through Thursday, September 10.
Friday, September 11 is for pre scouting only (no rods or tackle on deck) until 4:00 pm 🐟

BIG RAFFLE PRIZE ALERT: COOPER GALLANT HAS STEPPED UP!
The OBN Qualifier Committee is absolutely thrilled to announce that Bassmaster Elite Series Pro and fellow Canadian OBN Angler Cooper Gallant has graciously donated an incredible raffle prize for this Friday's Provincial Qualifier Angler Meeting!
Cooper is an absolute powerhouse on the water and a true grassroots success story. After narrowly missing the Elites in 2021, he battled back to finish 2nd overall in the 2022 Bassmaster Opens Angler of the Year standings to punch his ticket. Since joining the Elite Series in 2023, he has already racked up six Top 10 finishes, secured a legendary Century Belt, and qualified for 4 Bassmaster Classics!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: WE ARE LOOKING FOR SCRUTINEERS!
With the Hank Gibson Provincial Qualifier less than a week away, the momentum behind this event is absolutely off the charts! The Qualifier Committee has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to make this the biggest event yet, and the industry support pouring in has been nothing short of incredible.
Now, we need your help! We are actively looking for scrutineers to assist during the tournament.
WHO CAN HELP:
General Volunteers: If you are available to assist for 1 day or both days, please reach out to us ASAP! We would love to have you as a scutineers.
OBN Youth Anglers/High School Students: This is a fantastic learning experience! Spend a day or two on the water observing and learning from a Senior member who is trying to punch their ticket down South. Need volunteer hours? This is a perfect, fun way to knock those out while being part of an epic event!
