Fun class today making Bella Quilt coat with the Sunshine Coast Quilters Guild ladies - they all did a great job and I love all the jackets made

I got to test a new pattern for Karen Fabric Addict. It’s called Crystalized and was a fun one to sew. I used Tula Pink fabrics from tiny beasts, true colours and Graywork. It is well written and was easy to follow with step by step instructions and pictures - lots of y seams but they don’t bother me so would recommend for the confident beginner to advanced sewer pattern available from www.fabricaddict.net

It’s time to pre-order Arcadia patterns !! I know it seems crazy early but if we want our patterns in January this is what we need to do…. So I’ve scheduled my first Arcadia TOM 2027 class series at the Railway barn in Abbotsford-

If you would like a spot please let me know and also which size pattern you would like to make - Wall 80x80” or Queen 99x99” - payment will be required later this year but for now I need to get my pre-order in to secure your patterns for class…Also let me know if you want appliqué or not - this year the appliqué needs to be purchased separately so that you don’t end up with something you won’t use if you are not an appliqué fan - great idea!

Sadly our fab week at the lake has come to an end - lots of lovely quilts in the making and many tops finished - until next time ladies… thanks for coming !
