Royal City Curling Club - Junior Program

Come and try floor curling with some of our juniors!

Join us for a fun, interactive event showcasing the many minor sports and activities available in our community! Connect with minor sports organizations and recreation activities together in one space on Sunday April 19, 1:00-3:00 pm.

Ask questions and try out activities, including ball hockey, lacrosse, ringette, circus skills, and more! The event is FREE to all ages, no registration needed. Come by and give it all a try!

Presented by Play New West, a collaboration between City of New Westminster, City of New Westminster Parks and Recreation, Red Fox Society, Fraser Health, and New Westminster Schools

Come on out and watch the Olympic Men's Curling Final at the Royal City Curling Club! Enjoy our $5 beers and wine special. Game starts on Saturday, Feb 21st at 10:00am. The bistro will be open.

Note: Unfortunately, the women’s curling final and men’s hockey final are on when the club is closed (wee hours in the morning).

A reminder to our curlers that for safety reasons the City of New Westminster will be installing a traffic light at the corner of 6th Avenue and Cumberland Street and doing some reconfiguration of the sidewalk and bike path on 6th Street. They will also be doing some improvements to Cumberland.

Congratulations to Felix, Santi, Davis, Kenta and Caleb and their Coach Mason (who curled in the advanced division)! They won 1st place in the Novice Division at the Bill Mills Bonspiel at Port Moody Junior Curling League

We look forward to the Bill Mills Bonspiel every year. This year we had two teams in novice, one in Intermediate and one in Advanced divisions. Thank you to Darren and his amazing volunteers for putting on such a great event!

We are incredibly proud to be the 2026 Curl BC Champions for the second year! We are beyond excited to represent British Columbia as Team BC1 at the New Holland Canadian U21 Championships in Sudbury, ON from March 28-April 4, 2026!

To help us get there we are asking you to help us sell out our 50/50 board!

$10 per square and up to a $1000 prize for the winner!

Squares will be sold randomly on a first come first served basis but we will try to accommodate special requests. Please message us below to request squares and send payment via e-transfer to: [email protected] and ensure you let us know to expect it especially if your email is not your name!

We will also be selling squares in person at Royal City Curling Club over the coming weeks.
