📣 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY 📣

We're now accepting applications for Minor Council Regional Director for the Highland Region, serving the Antigonish Minor Hockey Association, Canso Minor Hockey Association, and Pictou County Minor Hockey Association.

This vacancy has opened following Mitch MacGregor's recent appointment as North Conference Coordinator with Minor Council, and we thank Mitch for his service to the Highland Region.

This volunteer role is a key link between Minor Council and local associations, supporting the day-to-day delivery of minor hockey across the region.

If you're looking to give back to the game and make a difference in your community, we'd love to hear from you.

The deadline to apply is Sept. 10.

PCMHA 2026 Try Out Schedule

A detailed schedule of the tryout teams as well as jersey pickup will be posted closer to the start date of each tryout.

We are pleased to be able to offer both U18 AA + A this season with our projected registration #'s far exceeding the threshold for 2 rep teams + 5 house teams.

We will be offering U11 B **AS LONG AS** our registration #'s reach 120 players + 12 goalies by October 1st.

Division Coordinators Wanted

PCMHA is currently seeking "Division Coordinators" for the 2026-27 hockey season!

This volunteer position requires the individual to have excellent communication and organization skills! With support from the PCMHA Executive, You will be required to manage the following tasks throughout the season:

1. Acting as the main contact between teams and the executive board members, including teams in other associations that are in our league.

2. Supporting coaches, managers, and parents when questions or issues arise.

3. Share information on how to manage a team

4. Coordinate game change adjustments including canceling referees assigned to games with Office Operations Board Member

If so, players must have completed a checking clinic prior to trying out!

PCMHA is offering 2 checking clinic sessions - August 31st & September 6th. Players only need to attend 1 of these sessions!
