What a paddle at Powell's Point!
A Woods Ban might be in place, but the water is always open.

The witches are loose!! Come for a paddle at this awesome event.

LOCATION CHANGE: New location at the Love Local Vendor Village on Caladh Avenue and Depot Street.

Are you up for a paddle and some fun on the water? Witches on the Water is back this year on October 19th. Equipment is available if you don't have any. If you rather land there is a haunted walk as well. Brought to you by the Municipality of Pictou County.

Super excited to partner with the Town of New Glasow for this adventure!!

Join the Town of New Glasgow and SUPDawg Adventures for a free guided group stand up paddle along the East River to Blueberry Island from the docks at Glasgow Square Theatre on Saturday, September 14 at 1:00pm.

The route is 6km long, suitable for beginners and will take approximately 2.5 hours. Registration is required and space is limited, please contact [email protected] or 902-755-8363 to register. Need a paddleboard? Borrow one from us through the Go Play Pictou County Equipment Loan Program at time of registration.

Our Active Living Team will be at Rotary Park on Wednesday, August 14th from 1:30p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with paddleboards from the Go Play Pictou County Equipment Loan Program. Drop by for some fun on the river and learn more about Go Play.

Kayak on the East River on Jubilee weekend!

Melmerby Adventures will be offering a pop up kayak rental on Sunday, August 4 from 1-7 pm at Rotary Park, New Glasgow.

Pre-book at MelmerbyAdventures.ca to confirm your spot. Walk ups welcome but based on availability :-)

$25 an hour, $40 for two hours

Rentals come with a life jacket and paddle.

I love going on an adventure! First person to correctly guess what new place I explored today wins a regular sized can holder for their SUP or Kayak.
If you don't win you can always purchase one anyway! 3d printed by me, $15 each.
