πŸ“£ PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE! πŸ“£

🧑 Indigenous Culture Day 2026 🧑
πŸ“… MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28
πŸ“ The Flats – Neepawa

We invite our entire community to join us for a meaningful day of learning, sharing, culture and connection.

πŸ₯ POW WOW PRESENTATIONS – EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
Our Pow Wow presentations will take place at:

🧑 9:45 a.m.
🧑 1:00 p.m.

These presentations are open to everyone in the community, and we would love to see a great crowd come out to experience and celebrate Indigenous culture with us.

πŸ‘‰ Please bring a lawn chair and, if you have one, we encourage you to wear your orange shirt.

Throughout the day, Grade 7 students will rotate through six different learning stations, where they will have the opportunity to take part in teachings, activities and cultural learning experiences.

Members of the public are very welcome to listen to the teachings and observe the learning stations throughout the day. We simply ask that the hands-on activities at the stations remain reserved for the Grade 7 students participating in the school program.

This is truly a community event, and everyone is welcome. Whether you join us for one of the Pow Wow presentations or spend some time observing the teachings throughout the day, we would love to have you there.

🧑 Come learn. Come listen. Come together as a community.

And please help us spread the word about the NEW DATE, Monday, September 28!

πŸ“ PADDLE BATTLE UPDATE πŸ“

Unfortunately, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone our Paddle Battle Pickleball Tournament scheduled for this Saturday, September 26th.

With the rainy forecast β˜”οΈ and a work conflict affecting the majority of our participants, we feel postponing is the best option.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing participants, volunteers and sponsors for your support, enthusiasm and help in making this event possible! ❀️ We truly appreciate each and every one of you.

We’ll keep you posted with details about a new date. We’re looking forward to getting everyone back on the courts for some fun! πŸ“πŸ€—
