WHY PARTICIPATE IN A STEP CHALLENGE?
It’s more than just counting steps.
A step challenge is a simple way to turn movement into a daily habit, and to have a little fun along the way.
Why join?
• Move more throughout your day
• Build healthier habits that actually last
• Improve your cardiovascular health and overall fitness
• Spend less time sitting and more time moving
• Stay accountable and motivated
• Challenge yourself and your friends
• Be part of a community working toward the same goal
• Help support a great local cause
And there’s an even bigger reason to step up.
A portion of every entry fee will be donated to the Yellowhead Arena Youth Programs.
So every step you take can help create more opportunities for local youth.
10,000 steps a day.
One step at a time.
Stronger together.
Let’s step up Neepawa!

There is NEVER a dull moment with our Day Camp kids running all over the community! 🥰
We finished our “In Our Community” week by showing some love to the community that supports us so much!
The kids went on a shopping spree at Harris Pharmacy, the Dollar Store, Red Apple and Hid N Hollow, picking out special gifts for sick kids at our local hospital. 🎁 A huge thank-you to Darryl for adding a few extra goodies!
Then we headed to the hospital to spoil our amazing nurses, lab and X-ray staff with some sweet treats and exchange our gifts. ❤️
And to finish the day, our campers helped hand out Blizzards at Dairy Queen for Miracle Treat Day! 🍦
What an amazing week of kindness, giving and community spirit! We are SO proud of these kids!

This week at camp, our theme was “In Our Community,” and we wanted to teach the kids just how special and important our community is. ❤️
We talked about how even taking a little bit of time to help others can make a BIG difference! And our campers certainly put that lesson into action! 🙌
They worked together to clean up our community and collected 2 bags of garbage!
They handed out Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day forms to help support sick kids.
made bracelets to give to others.
🍋 And today, they planned and ran their very own lemonade stand! The kids followed directions, worked together, and made cookies and lemonade to sell—and they turned out AMAZING! 🍪🍋
The best part? The kids decided that all of the money raised will be used to purchase toys and fun items for sick children who use our local hospital.
And we’ll be purchasing everything right here in our own community, supporting our local businesses while giving back to children who need a little extra kindness. 🥰
We are SO proud of these kids! They showed us that you don’t have to be big to make a big difference. Sometimes, a little kindness, teamwork and a helping hand can go a long, long way.
