Hello everyone! I hope your all having a great summer! First of all, I have some exciting news to share!!
🌟 Emily is happy to return as an outstanding instructor again this season with her fun, talented, creative soul and her love for dance!! :) It shows in her routines and the kids have a blast with her.
I am extremely thankful and blessed to have her back!!! 👏 👏 👏
🌟 I am also hiring a second instructor, who brings endless talent, and love for dance. She is an experienced competitive dancer with a positive attitude and a smiling face. The kids love and adore her as she has been behind the scenes before. I am thrilled to welcome.... Miss Chloe O'Hara!! ❤️ 💃 to our team of instructors 👏

I would like to do a quick head count again this year for numbers as this really helps with getting dances ready! Please comment below students name and age:)
Registration night will be Wed Oct 7th at the Taymouth Community Center. I will post class times in September once I have an idea of student numbers.

Tentative class times and prices:
3:00-3:30 Babies- 3/4 year olds =$30/month
3:30-4:15 Kindertots- 5/6 year olds =$45/month
4:15-5:15 Kids- 7/8/9 year olds=$60/month
5:30-6:30 Preteens 10-12 =$60/month
6:30-7:30 Teenagers =$60/month
7:30-8:30 Adults =$60/month

This is just a rough guideline, I try to keep groups together that have danced together over the years, but sometimes shuffle things around due to numbers and experience. But just wanted to give a rough idea. :)

I picked up 2 pairs of tap shoes in the teenager dressing room, I have them with me, whoever is missing your shoes....Great rehersal everyone, the show should run smoothly tomw!! 👏 Make sure you have all of your things packed back into your bag and dont forget to bring a water bottle!!! :)

The BIG week is here, and we could not be more excited!!! Important Reminders:

There is reg dance practice tomw night as a make up date from ice storms earlier this season..

Saturday June 6th. Dress rehearsal 2-6pm. (Babes 4-6 only) E'cole St Anne theatre...Please bring a water bottle and a snack if you like. I will also have some snacks provided.

Sunday is SHOWTIME!!:)) starts at 2:00 sharp!
Dancers are asked to be there by 1:20. You can drop your dancers off to my helpers and head back out to the line up, doors will open by 1:40

If you still wish to buy advanced tickets I will have them tomw night at class, and they will be sold at rehersal and night of the show as well. $20 cash only

I also picked up an abundance of black ankle socks, anyone who has not got yours yet, see me tomw night at class time!!

Ok everyone,
Im going to stick with our general rule when school is cancel so are we. Not all roads are clear, kids often make other arrangements on snow days, there are alot of kids out sick, with very low class numbers we will stay cancelled for today.
Please do some homework and work on your dances at home a couple times this week to keep them fresh in memory:) Most dances are already complete and the few that are not will be within the next 2 weeks. So we will have lots of time to review everything. Please be ready to work hard the last couple months as we show prep. There are still 4 nights in April and 4 nights in May, plus the makeup one in June, along with rehersal in June:)
See you next week! Be prepared to work extra hard these last couple months!

Hey everyone...
I work until 1:00 and was then going to update on dance classes.. its a tough call because in general if school is closed , we close too.. but weather seems to have stopped but looks like more snow coming around 6pm... I know kids make other arrangements for the day when school is cancelled too and then cant get to dance class.. Travellers do not generally show up either , so our group numbers are bound to be low tonight.
Please cast your vote below to help make the call: cancel or open
I dont mind showing up and reviewing things but its also hard when half the class is not there..
I will make the call by 1pm

Hello everyone:)
With schools dismissing early today, I am going to follow suit and cancel dance classes now for today. It sounds like its going to be very slippery with the freezing rain storm! I will have a make up class the first Wednesday in June, the 3rd, to make up for this cancelation.
