Congratulations to Nanaimo NightOwls slugger Ethan Reynolds, who has been named one of the West Coast League’s Top Prospects for the 2026 season! 🎉🦉⚾

Ethan had a record-breaking summer, leading the WCL with 53 RBIs while setting new NightOwls records with a .350 batting average, 72 hits, a .583 slugging percentage and a 1.017 OPS.

A well-deserved honour for #23! 👏

Ethan Reynolds #23 has been named the 2026 West Coast League Most Valuable Player—the first NightOwl in franchise history to receive the award!

Reynolds delivered a record-breaking season, setting WCL records with 29 doubles and 36 extra-base hits while helping lead the NightOwls to their first postseason appearance.

He led the WCL with 53 RBI—the fourth most in league history—and set NightOwls records in batting average (.350), hits (72), slugging percentage (.583) and OPS (1.017).
