The Meat Draws Were a success!

Thank you to all the community members who came down and supported us at the Legion Meat draws in July and August. The cross-country ski trails are used by many people in the community including quad riders, horse back riders, hikers, joggers, trail bikers and mountain bikers. It takes a lot of work to keep the trails and cabin going, and we appreciate your help."
The Arrow Lakes Cross Country Ski Club

Arrow Lakes Cross Country Ski Club would like to thank all the volunteers who fundraised for the ALCCSC at the Legion Meat draws this summer. This kind of fundraising keeps the ski club memberships affordable.

Thank you!

Arrow Lakes Cross Country Ski Club would like to give a warm Thank You to NACFOR, RDCK and Valhalla Hills "Nordiq Ski Club".
RDCK generously provided funding for this year’s free ski lessons and both NACFOR and the RDCK funded brochures. And when our trails were washed out, Valhalla Hills "Nordiq Ski Club" kindly provided use of their trails for the lessons. Thank you all for being a part of this wonderful community and helping us make free ski lessons a reality and success.

Map Update (2026):

02/03/2026

Grooming Report: ski conditions are poor, parts of trails are washed out by the rains and what is remaining is icy. Ski at your own risk.

Sadly, our trail groomer arrived this morning to find extensive damage done to the trails by a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
A lot of time and effort is invested by local volunteers. Our volunteer this morning went above and beyond to mitigate the damage done and smooth out the trails. Hopefully, the trails can recover with our low amount of snow and the warm temperatures over the next week.

Please respect the signs, trails and hard work of the volunteers keeping them maintained for the season.

Grooming report: trails are generally low in snow and heavy with rocks, wet spots and ruts. A general lack of snow coverage is making things less than ideal. However the trails in the best shape are lower Hairpin and the connector. The new trail that goes behind the cabin to the connector is groomed. It’s pretty cool! That would be the best route to the cabin at this point.

Currently, trails are rough but ready for those not faint of heart and preferably wearying old rock skis.

Grooming update Jan 7th:

Most of the trails are packed and track set. The conditions are still marginal on some sections due to rocks, ruts and slush below the fresh stuff.
