Nackawic 10k/5k/3k/1k running race, on Oct 31/20, sponsored by Ryan's Pharmacy & Liv9 in support of the N'wic Bend Ski Club's Skis in Schools initiative.
Stay tuned for information as to whether we are able to hold a 2020 edition of Run the River. Run the River is a community event on November 2nd, 2019, sponsored by Ryan’s Pharmacy and Liv9 Nutrition in support of the Nackawic Bend Ski Club’s Skis in Schools initiative. For the 6th consecutive year, race central is held at downtown Nackawic, overlooking the majestic Saint John River and the World’
s Largest Axe. The running distances are 10k/5k/3k/1k. All participants will receive a beautiful, custom made medal, along with other swag and draw prizes (Run the River water bottle, chip-timing). Changing rooms and warm up space will be available on-site. Singing up is only $25 for participants 14 years and older; $12 for those 13 years and younger. The 1K Kids Fun Run is free! Registration is available soon at RaceRoster.com. The race route is located mainly along the Saint John River, on paved roads, with a few rolling hills and with beautiful fall landscape scenery. A detailed map will be made available on our page. The 5k/10k distances are wheel-measured to ensure distance accuracy. Water stations will be located along the route. We are also offering free post-race-massage therapy on site. Run the River Prize money up for grabs; The Top 3 male and female finishers in each distance (3K/5K/10K) will be awarded with some nice cash prizes! Event Sponsors:
