You can consciously want something and still feel uncomfortable when it starts becoming real.
And it’s not because you’re doing manifestation
“wrong.”
It’s more that your nervous system stays familiar with the old version of your life even when your mind is ready for something new.
That’s why I think aligned action matters just as much as visualization.
The work is learning to stay present when something unfamiliar starts to feel possible.
Through these practices I create enough safety within to move toward what I actually want.
That’s the kind of work we explore in Soul Sessions.

We’re so used to thinking growth has to feel like effort.
With discipline, forcing and more doing.
But there’s another kind of strength in noticing when your body is asking for less.
A deeper breath,
slower transitions,
More patience.
Softness isn’t doesn’t slow the growth.
It actually allows you to keep going without abandoning your needs.
That’s the kind of strength I want to practice.
This practice isn’t about getting further.
It’s about learning to stay steady.
Breathe.
Focus on what’s in front of you.
Reach for what’s next.
If you feel like the weight of the day is weighing on your chest, try these two moves.
Puppy pose - draw the forehead down and look under the arm. You can bring the opposite hand to the upper back.
Roll up onto the knees and lean into a side stretch.
Roll back into puppy and do the other side.
Repeat 3x. 3 minutes to reset.
Let me know if you need a variation of this!
It can be hard to get the mat out, especially when the excuses come like
I’ve had a long day I just want to sit,
I can’t possibly focus on movement,
I don’t have time,
I don’t know what exercise to do,
The best thing you can do for yourself is keep your practice consistent, choose days that work better and stick to them. Don’t let the excuses take over.
The online studio makes it easy to choose a class that suits the time you have available and the variety that you can pick a class for exactly what you need that day!

You can know you’re capable and still feel nervous about trying.
Crow taught me that confidence has to come before feeling it.
It’s also about practicing staying present in the wobble.
You breathe and take your time, you adjust, you experience.
And little by little, what once felt impossible starts to feel familiar.
And thats a practice, teaching yourself that you can meet the unfamiliar without immediately rejecting your ability.
You know that feeling when you’re physically done with the day, but your brain is still replaying the conversation, the awkward moment, the thing you wish youd said differently….
So give yourself 6 minutes.
Tea. Yoga mat. 4-7-8 breathing.
Intentional breath work will reset the nervous system, so just breathe until your body gets the message that the day was over.
This is one of the breathwork practices waiting for you inside the Soft Life Studio.
The brain needs something else to focus on, and the breath lets the nervous system remember that the event, situation and conversation are over, so it can feel safe again.
Sometimes I just need to press play on a class, get on my mat, and let myself move without needing to explain what I’m feeling.
This is one of my favorite things about having the Soft Life Studio at home I can meet myself exactly where I am.
Feeling off?
There’s a class for that.
Feeling energized? There’s a class for that too.
Need to breathe, stretch, sweat, soften, or simply be?
Press play. 🩵
And yes… this entire video is just the real sounds of my practice. No music. Just movement, breath, and a little space to come back to yourself.

Growth doesn’t come from just reading and learning something new.
It’s also about releasing old stories, outdated patterns, and identities that no longer fit.
Sometimes that release happens in a conversation.
Sometimes it happens in stillness.
Sometimes your body shows you what your mind has been holding onto.
That’s the work we do inside Soul Sessions.
Not so that you can become someone else, but so that you can remember who you were before survival took over.
