My Facebook feed has been flooded this past week with shop owners cracking a personal box of Clear Cut to show everyone what to expect from the product.

We're going to do things a little differently...

The box is still getting ripped but the card inside is going to belong to one of YOU! 👀🔥

I've covered the last 3 digits of the serial number on this box.

There are 1,000 possibilities .. 000 through 999.

Correctly guess the hidden number and you win the box! Once we have a winner, we'll rip it and find out what card you won.

• If nobody guesses correctly on Day 1, everyone gets another guess on Day 2 and so on until we have a winner.
• No edited comments. Edited guesses will not count.

After 25+ years of collecting and 10+ years of running CardBreakNL, I’ve been lucky enough to be part of A LOT of crazy card stories.

But this one lives rent free in my head still..

If you don’t know, once a month we run our fan favourite BangerBox Breaks.. Instead of relying on Upper Deck, Topps and Panini to provide the big hits in the sealed boxes, we take the reins and build the box ourselves, loaded with HUGE cards.

🔥 WHEN A CARD BREAK TURNS INTO A ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME EXPERIENCE…

A local collector recently hit a Kazuma Okamoto Rookie Superfractor 1/1 in an online group break… and what happened next is pretty wild.

He reached out to a few players on the Jays and ended up hearing back from Dylan Cease who is also a collector. He wanted to get the card so he could gift it directly to Okamoto. 🤯

That eventually turned into an invite to the field for batting practice, a chance to meet and chat with Cease, AND some game-used memorabilia on top of it all.

For a lifelong Blue Jays fan, it doesn’t get much cooler than that. 💙⚾

In the hobby you have your ups and your downs… but every once in a while, one little piece of cardboard creates a story you’ll remember forever.

Pretty cool to see a card from a group break turn into such a cool story for everyone involved!
