🎉 HELP US WELCOME A NEW COACH! 🎉

We are SO excited to welcome Josie to the Skate Canada Mount Forest coaching team for the 2026–2027 season! ⛸️❤️

Josie is a Certified CanSkate and Regional Coach with an impressive skating background, including achieving GOLD status in Freeskate, Dance, Skills and Artistic.

She continues to train and compete while sharing her passion and experience with the next generation of skaters.

We're so excited to introduce Alannah Bondy!

Alannah has been part of the Skate Canada Mount Forest family for many years — spending 17 years as a skater with our club and now entering her 9th year coaching!

With a background in Kinesiology, Education and Psychology, along with her experience as a skater and coach, Alannah brings so much knowledge and enthusiasm to the ice.

We're excited to introduce our Head Coach, Jack Langenhuizen!

Jack brings an incredible amount of experience, knowledge and passion to Skate Canada Mount Forest. From Freeskate and Dance to Artistic, Skills, Adult Skate and Theatre on Ice, Jack has experience across many areas of the sport.

This will be Jack's 8th year coaching with Skate Canada Mount Forest, and we're so lucky to have him as part of our skating family!

Thinking about registering your child for skating but not sure where to start? You're not alone!

A lot of our families start with one simple question:

"My child has never skated before... can they still join?"

The answer is YES! 🙌⛸️

Our PreCan & CanSkate program is designed for skaters of all abilities including those stepping onto the ice for the very first time.

Our coaches help skaters build confidence and skills at their own pace in a fun and supportive environment.

No experience necessary. Just bring your skates, helmet and a willingness to have fun!
