✨ WELCOME TO THE 300 CLUB, JAIME! ✨

Three. Hundred. Classes.🔥

At this point, Jaime is basically part of the furniture around here 😂🫶🏼

300 check-ins means a LOT of hours spent inside these walls, getting stronger, putting in the work, taking on whatever gets thrown her way, and being such a fun part of the IPSL crew while doing it.

We’ve loved getting to be a small part of those 300 classes, and we’re pretty dang excited to see what the next hundred bring!

Congratulations, Jaime!! 🥳💪🏼 300 looks good on you!

I think the funny thing is, I built this place because I needed it.

I missed having a gym community. I wanted somewhere I could know people, laugh with them, celebrate their wins and feel like I was part of something.

So I started with some bootcamp classes in my backyard.

And somehow, that little idea grew into this.

A place where people have found strength, confidence, friendships and community. A place I get to walk into every day and think... holy moly, I actually built this.

Except I didn't really build it alone.

Every person who showed up to a Backyard Bootcamp, walked nervously through our doors for the first time, brought a friend, became a member, trusted us to coach them, or simply kept showing up helped build Iron Prairie into what it is today.

It started because I needed a community.

And now we have one.

Look what we built. ❤️

🧘‍♀️ SUNDAY MOBILITY RESET WITH COACH NIQ!

Your body works hard all week — let’s give it a little love. 🫶🏼

Join Coach Niq this Sunday at 11:00 AM for a Mobility Reset focused on slowing things down, opening up those tight areas and helping your body move and feel better.

Mobility isn’t just about being “flexible.” It plays a huge role in how well we squat, lift, run, jump and move through everyday life. Taking the time to work on mobility can help:

✨ Improve range of motion
✨ Reduce stiffness & tightness
✨ Support better movement & technique
✨ Improve recovery between workouts
✨ Help keep your body feeling strong and capable

Whether you’ve been hitting the gym hard, feeling a little stiff, or simply know you should spend more time stretching (👀 we’re looking at all of us), this hour is for you.

📅 Sunday, August 23rd
⏰ 11:00 AM
📍 Iron Prairie Strength Lab
🧘‍♀️ All levels welcome!

Come reset, recover and head into a new week feeling GOOD. 🙌🏼

Something new is coming to IPSL this September!

I'm opening just 4 spots for a 6-week Semi-Private Strength Coaching pilot.

This is for someone who wants more individualized coaching than a regular group class, without needing to book 1:1 personal training.

You'll train alongside a small group, but your program will be built around your goals, your starting point and what your body needs.

You'll get:

• An individual starting assessment
• Your own strength program
• 2 coached sessions each week
• Progress tracking and coaching throughout the 6 weeks
• An end-of-block review so you can see exactly what has changed

Tuesdays + Thursdays at 12:00 PM
Starting September 8
6 weeks / 12 sessions
$525

And I'm capping this first group at 4 people.

If you've been wanting more direction, more accountability or more individualized coaching with your strength training, send me STRONG and I'll chat with you about whether this would be a good fit!

The Moosomin Beer Mile is BACK.

One mile. Four stops. A questionable amount of confidence. And a very good reason to do it.

Join us Saturday, September 26 at 11AM for the third annual Moosomin Beer Mile in support of Playfair Daycare. Walk it, run it, do it solo, grab a partner, or convince three friends to join you and make a team of four. Beer, cider and non-alcoholic options are all welcome.

And yes, we fully expect this to be a little ridiculous.

Start thinking about your team.

Start thinking about your strategy.

And maybe start thinking about your costume too, because we’ve got a few extra things planned for this year.

Then stick around afterward for the fundraiser BBQ at Skout Brewing.

Individual: $75
Team of 2: $125
Team of 4: $225

Registration is open now through Skout Brewing.

Save the date. Rally your people. Let’s make this year’s Beer Mile the biggest one yet!

We’re wrapping up our Get to Know the Coaches series with none other than Niquitta, or as most of us know her, Coach Niq! 🫶🏼

If you’ve been in one of Niq’s classes, you already know she brings the energy, the laughs, and probably an energy drink or two. 😂 She has a genuine love for IPSL and an even bigger passion for helping our members feel stronger, more confident, and better than when they walked through the door.

Tell us about yourself in one sentence.
Mom of 2 sassy girls, powered by energy drinks and a barbell 💪🏼

What brought you to IPSL? I needed to get back into my fitness era and a good friend recommended Jill! I started at her house doing personal training and never looked back!

What made you decide to become a coach? My passion for everything IPSL offers and stands for 🫶🏼. I saw & felt the success I had from my sessions with Jill and I want to help others the same way!

You’re known for bringing a ton of energy to class—where does that come from? Other than my alani addiction? …. literally loving what I do!

What’s one thing members might be surprised to learn about you? I’m actually not a people person 😅

If you could only coach one workout for the rest of your life, what would it be? Functional Fitness in general, again I love everything Iron Prairie offers as well as all our amazing members!

Finish this sentence:
“I hope every member leaves my class feeling ________.” Better than they did when they walked through the door. ♥️

The hardest workout you’ll ever do at IPSL might just be walking through the door for the first time.

Starting somewhere new can feel intimidating. Maybe you’ve never stepped foot in a gym before. Maybe it’s been years. Maybe you’re worried you won’t be able to keep up, won’t know what you’re doing, or that everyone else will be “fitter” than you.

But here’s the thing, you don’t need to be fit to start. You just need to start.

At IPSL, every workout can be adjusted to meet you exactly where you’re at. Different ages, different abilities, different experience levels, different goals we are all working alongside each other.

No judgment. No expectation that you already know what you’re doing. Just great coaching, a supportive community, and people who are genuinely happy you walked through the door.

That first step might feel like the hardest one.

We promise, you won’t have to take the next one alone. 💛

🎉 400 CLUB — MEAGAN! 🎉

A HUGE congratulations to Meagan on hitting 400 classes at IPSL!

Since coming back postpartum, Meagan has been a familiar face in our Mom & Baby classes and the 9AM WODs. Often showing up with a toddler and a baby in tow. And while getting yourself to the gym is hard enough some days, getting there with two little ones is a whole different workout 😂

Meagan continues to show up, put in the work, and somehow make it all look seamless. We’re so proud of her commitment and so happy to celebrate 400 classes with her!

Congratulations, Meagan!! 🥳 Here’s to the next 100 — we can’t wait to cheer you on all the way to 500! ❤️

We're getting close to wrapping up the very first IPSL Health Reset, and I've been thinking a lot about what I've watched this group accomplish over the summer.

And no, it hasn't been 12 weeks of perfect eating and never missing a workout. 😂

It's been learning how to eat more protein without completely changing what you eat.

Getting stronger.

Walking more.

Having more energy for life outside the gym.

Learning how to navigate eating out, vacations and ridiculously busy weeks without feeling like you've completely fallen off track.

And slowly building habits that actually feel... normal.

That's what I wanted this program to be.

Not a challenge you survive for 12 weeks and then go right back to what you were doing before.

Something that teaches you how to take better care of yourself in real life.

We're not quite finished yet, but seeing what this first group has accomplished has already convinced me of one thing:

We're doing it again this Fall.

I'll share more soon.

But if you've been watching from the sidelines thinking, I might need something like this, comment RESET or send me a message and I'll make sure you hear about the next group first.
