We’re back from NLC, and what an unforgettable trip to San Antonio it was! 🤠✨

Our days were packed with learning in amazing workshops, competing at the national level, and—of course—having some fun exploring the River Walk and experiencing the city.

**Waukon National Leadership Conference – Days 2 & 3!**

These past couple of days have been packed with learning, competition, and unforgettable experiences!

Highlights included:
✨ Competitions
🎓 Exploring the exhibit hall filled with colleges, vendors, and valuable resources
📍 Networking through the always-popular pin trading
💡 Attending workshops—our favorite speaker was Bryant Collier!
🌆 Visiting the Tower of the Americas
🏆 Celebrating our Regional Meeting, where our chapter received the Gold Champion Chapter Award
🎉 Having fun at the state meeting with a rock-paper-scissors challenge
🎤 Kicking off the conference at the opening session with guest speaker Jared Ebersole

Grateful for all the opportunities to learn, connect, and represent Waukon.

Day 3 of National Leadership Conference
We went to watch the final rounds of competition and take one final stroll through the exhibit hall, checked out San Pedro Natural Springs Park, ate at the first River Walk restaurant where we were serenaded by a mariachis band, then want for a boat tour through the city. Another great day for Waukon FBLA!

2026 National Leadership is going well! We had a big day of workshops and competing! Waukon FBLA was recognized for their efforts in the Champion Chapter program and received a Gold.

The FBLA Champion Chapter program is a national, point-based challenge designed to boost high school chapter engagement, membership recruitment, and activity participation. All of the activities we do throughout the year are submitted for points towards our total.

Made a trip to Hard Rock Cafe and the Alamo before we could check into our hotel!

As 17 students and 5 chaperones head to San Antonio, Texas on Sunday morning, we want to thank everyone who helped us. Your generous donations, encouragement, and support have made it possible!
