Before every training session and game, a proper warm-up sets the foundation for success.
Anna walks us through the key phases of an effective soccer warm-up: starting with light jogging to increase circulation, progressing to controlled dynamic movements to improve mobility and activate muscles, and finishing with explosive, game-ready movements that prepare the body for sprinting, jumping, and changing direction.
A few minutes of preparation can make a big difference in performance and injury prevention.
Our SwimEx pool allows us to use the unique properties of water to support recovery, rehabilitation, and performance.
Why aquatherapy works:
💧 Buoyancy – Water reduces the amount of body weight placed on your joints. This allows you to move with less pain and less impact, making it ideal for injury rehab or early return to activity.
💧 Hydrostatic pressure – The natural pressure of water helps reduce swelling and improve circulation, which can support recovery after injury or intense training.
💧 Resistance – Water provides gentle, consistent resistance in every direction, helping build strength, control, and stability while keeping stress on the body low.
SwimEx sessions are great for rehabilitation, active recovery, strength training, and return-to-sport progression.

Last Thursday, we held the annual Concordia School of Health Conference - a day dedicated to student research, innovation, and meaningful conversations about the future of health.
We were also lucky to welcome keynote speaker Rabia Khan, founder & CEO of Serna Bio, who spoke about designing the future in an uncertain world.

Jeudi dernier avait lieu la conférence annuelle de l’École de la santé de Concordia - une journée consacrée à la recherche étudiante, à l’innovation et aux échanges sur l’avenir de la santé.
Nous avons également eu la chance d’accueillir notre conférencière principale, Rabia Khan, fondatrice et PDG de Serna Bio, qui a présenté une conférence sur le thème concevoir l’avenir dans un monde incertain.
