“i had to pinch myself many times throughout the sydney marathon, from running over the harbour bridge to finishing with the opera house in the background, this race will give you goose bumps wherever you turn. the atmosphere was unlike any other race i had done before and i cannot wait to experience this again in 2026.”

run mountains. find your views.
in a town nestled in a valley ringed by l'aiguille du midi, le brévent, and a horizon of glaciers is a unique red track with a blue interior. shorter than most, views in every direction. locals and the world's elite trade elevation for speed here. flat work laying the ground work for what's ahead. an oval in the middle of eden.
here, a track day and a switchback day don't need to be different days. a few warm-up laps, a left, a right, and you're on the route for le petit balcon. loop it back and, on loaded legs, empty it all out on the track. a pursuit of speed paired with a pursuit of mountain views.
an idea that tests endurance and kick. or. run it slow and let the valley do the work.
from the track and back.

"chamonix is where trail running feels bigger than racing. it's where runners from every corner of the world come together, no matter their level, to chase the same mountains. the trails will humble you, make you feel small, and leave you speechless, all in the same day.
beautiful. brutal. magical."
melodie hails from QC and finds her place in the mountains. like all of us, she was in awe of the mountains, the views, the trails, and the aura of that special mountain town sitting in the shadows of giants.

“the seawall and stanley park are worth it, iconic for good reason. but if you want something different, cross the bridge into north vancouver, my home ground. proper nature, the hills will absolutely work you, and everyone waves, everyone says hi. it’s small, but you notice it, and it makes it just a little more special.”
