Same movement. Different apparatus.
Featured movement: Lateral Flexion
The spine wasn’t designed to move in just one plane. Moving it in every direction helps circulate fluid through the discs, keeping them hydrated and healthy. Side-bending activates the muscles along one side of the body, including the obliques, while opening and decompressing the opposite side.
The moment you move away from your vertical axis, deep stabilizers—including the multifidus, transverse abdominis, and pelvic floor—engage automatically. That’s the beauty of the Pilates method. 😉

Why so many machines?
Because Pilates was never designed around just one piece of equipment.
Each apparatus has a different role, but they’re all part of the same system. They build on one another, challenge your body in different ways and help you experience the same principles from a new perspective.
Different challenges help you build a stronger, more balanced and more capable body.

Pilates wasn’t designed as a workout. It was designed as a system of movement.
Over 100 years later, people are still practicing it. Not because it’s trendy, but because it works.
Same movement.
Different apparatus.
Featured movement: Grasshopper
The Grasshopper can be explored across different pieces of Pilates equipment. Each apparatus changes the challenge, helping you build strength, control and a deeper understanding of the movement.
Pilates 🤝 System

Our good friend Joseph Pilates designed this for your living room. Today, it’s one of the most demanding pieces of apparatus in the studio.
The Wunda Chair was originally created for the home, but we still love it in the studio because in the Pilates system, every piece of apparatus offers a different challenge. With less of your body supported, every movement requires more control and focus.
You leave feeling stronger, steadier and more capable in the way you move, both in and out of the studio.
Compact by design and demanding by nature.

Same movement 🤝 Different apparatus.
Shown: The Teaser
In Pilates, the same exercise can be explored across different pieces of equipment. Each apparatus teaches you something different about the movement, helping you build strength, control, coordination and a deeper understanding of your practice.
The movement stays familiar. The challenge evolves.
