Dear Chong Lee Taekwondo Family,
Today, we would like to come together to support one of our own, Carlos D’Angelo, and his family during an incredibly difficult time.

Carlos’s family member, Donato Amore, traveled to Greece with his wife, Donato and his wife, for what was supposed to be a joyful wedding celebration. Tragically, on July 26, Donato suffered a severe fall, striking his head. He experienced a serious brain hemorrhage and remains in critical condition.

He has spent weeks in the Intensive Care Unit, including time in an induced coma and on a ventilator. Doctors have also found areas of brain tissue ischemia, and he has required a tracheotomy. His condition remains serious, and the family’s hope is to eventually bring him home to Canada by air ambulance once he is medically stable.

This is where our Lee Taekwondo family can make a difference.

We are asking our students, families, and friends to come together and support Carlos and his family. Every donation, no matter the amount, can help with the cost of medical care, transportation, road ambulance services, and ultimately the air ambulance needed to bring Donato home.

As martial artists, we understand the importance of strength, perseverance, compassion, and standing together when someone needs help.
Let’s show Carlos and his family that they are not alone.
