Running on fumes but still dreaming. Broke today, not broken

Emergency fund was zero dollars.

Car broke. I had zero saved. Had to borrow. 57 percent of us cant cover 1000 dollars. That is most of us.

Between a rock and a hard place. Alone, tired, but still showing up. That's the grind.

Robbing Peter to pay Paul every month. Rent or groceries? Can't do both.

I said I am fine. My bank said no.

Everyone asks how are you. You say fine cause bills story is too long. I am tired of saying fine.

My plate was empty so theirs was full.

Skipped lunch again so kids could eat what they like. Moms and dads know this one. Did you do it this week too.

Awake at 3am doing math I already did.

Rent plus light plus car. I add it again hoping number changes. It never does. Who else is up right now.
