I met Phillip Hayes at our local gym this year and we became fast friends. Through our friendship he introduced me to his world of Sumo Wrestling—a martial art rich in culture and rooted in honour. Phil is a natural teacher and has a passion for his art. You can FEEL the respect he has for both the sport and the students with every lesson. He recently started VIP Sumo (Quebec's SECOND ever Sumo Club located in Ile Perrot) and they are currently welcoming new students.
