What a fantastic performance by our RTC wrestlers today at the Hong Kong International Wrestling Tournament! 🇭🇰🤼‍♂️

Two of our athletes travelled overseas with Team Canada 🇨🇦 for a two-week training camp in Japan 🇯🇵 and Hong Kong 🇭🇰, capping off the trip with their first international wrestling tournament — and what a way to finish!

Taylor Tritton went a perfect 5-0, defeating athletes from Korea 🇰🇷, the USA 🇺🇸, Malaysia 🇲🇾 and Australia 🇦🇺 before taking on another American wrestler in the gold-medal final. Taylor takes the top spot on the podium 🥇

Grayden Diome finished 3-1, picking up wins over Mongolia 🇲🇳, Hong Kong 🇭🇰 and his Team Canada teammate. Grayden battled all the way to the final, where he came up just short, earning an impressive silver medal! 🥈

I think I can speak for everyone on the team when I say JOB WELL DONE! 👏🔥

We’re incredibly proud of both of you. Enjoy the accomplishment, take it all in, and we’ll see you back on the mats this week! 💪🤼‍♂️

La voici, la voilà, la programmation de la 2e édition du Festival VITA!

Au menu : pickleball, skateboard, parkour, athlétisme, sauvetage sportif, crosse, ski de fond (oui, oui, t'as bien lu!), biathlon, lutte, sumo, cricket, cyclisme, Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo, teqball, basketball en fauteuil roulant et encore plus de façons de découvrir que tu utilises certains muscles seulement une fois par année! ➕ Ne manque pas Naomi en prestation le vendredi soir! 🎤

Que tu sois du genre à battre des records ou simplement à battre ton propre nombre de pas quotidien, il y a une activité pour toi à VITA. Alors, enfile tes espadrilles, prépare ta bouteille d'eau et viens bouger au Parc olympique les 18 et 19 septembre prochains! Psst. C'est gratuit!

Attention aux effets secondaires possibles : nouveaux coups de cœur sportifs, défis improvisés entre amis et légère croyance que tu pourrais participer aux Jeux olympiques après une initiation de 15 minutes.
