At Atlantic Fitness East, we believe everyone deserves a place to feel strong, supported, and connected.

We’re opening a small number of spots in our Community Access Program for people who are working toward their fitness goals but can’t currently afford a gym pass.

It’s a chance to train in a welcoming space, be part of something positive, and focus on your wellbeing.

It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Lola MacLeod.

Lola has been part of Atlantic Fitness East for the past 21 years. She was the very first person I hired after purchasing the facility, and from that day on, she was with me through thick and thin.

Everyone knew Lola, and Lola knew everyone. She remembered your name, asked about your family, greeted you with a smile, and made time to talk. She had a way of making people feel welcome, cared for, and at home the moment they walked through our doors.

Over the years, I relied on Lola in more ways than I could ever put into words. She taught classes, cared for children in Summer Day Camp and Before and After School Care, helped members, supported our team, and became such an important part of the heart and soul of Atlantic Fitness East. She was loyal, kind, steady, strong, and so deeply loved.

Our gym community will not be the same without her. Her presence will be missed in every corner of this building and by everyone whose life she touched.

We send our deepest love and condolences to Steven, Logan, Kelsie, Lola’s family, her friends, and all who loved her.

Thank you, Lola, for 21 years of friendship, dedication, laughter, and love. You will always be part of the Atlantic Fitness East family. ❤️
