After spending more time at his family’s business he was able to quickly turn it into high profitability noting great gains in a short amount of time. Steffen constantly sought improving his self knowledge and discipline with honour and professionalism being very serious core values. After fortifying these values serving in the German Military he had his sights set on furthering his passion at the highest level: Professional Motorsports. Steffen started his motorsport career in the top class of touring car racing. In 2010 he became Technician No. 3 at the Young Driver Aston Martin Racing Team competing in the GT1 World Championship. Within six months Steffen had proven his ability as a brilliant mechanic and race strategist and was promoted to Chief Mechanic of the #7 Aston Martin DBR9. He subsequently was given the responsibility of preparing the #13 and #14 Ford GT3 competing in the European Championship. During the GT1 WC season Steffen was given the opportunity to take charge of the Young Driver AMR’s team pit stops. Steffen was then able to implement a new strategy which allowed Young Driver AMR to win races due to the time saved in the pits. As time progressed, Steffen became instrumental in the development and testing of the #86 Aston Martin Vantage GT2. During his time with the Young Driver Aston Martin Racing Program Steffen was responsible for leading the building, prepping and maintaining of several other successfully driven professional race cars. In 2012 Steffen decided to increase his breadth of motorsport experience by venturing to North America. He moved to Toronto | Canada where he met his loving wife. He spent his time in Canada as the Crew Chief and Race Team Manager of a Professional Team competing in the GT3 Cup Challenge Canada and several other series’. Steffen Rilli brings an enormous amount of professional motorsport experience in sprint and endurance racing. He has taken part in a number of prestigious events across the globe including the famed 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2015 Steffen created the company Rilli Racing INC. The company is specializing in professional motorsport support, strategizing and team management services. Steffen has a very positive attitude and an uplifting leading ability unlike any other. He approaches every challenge with a simple methodology: always striving to improve the results of the driver. Although Steffen spends the majority of his time working with Professional Drivers, he is always keen to help the fellow enthusiast driver.
