Today’s win is being able to run 4 minutes sets without (almost) stopping !! We gotta celebrate all the wins during this journey!

Even personal trainers have to start from scratch sometimes. We’re all in this together 🩷

If you see coaches, wellness influencers, diets or personal trainers make you feel like if the program doesn’t succeed, it’s YOUR fault, it’s a big red flag 🚩🚩 Especially when it comes to weight loss because

1. It’s been proven time and time again that most people regain the weight they lost and more after trying to lose weight
2. If you have to work THAT hard to lose weight and keep it off, you’re not meant to be that size

A good coach will help you implement habits that are realistic to your lifestyle. Goals that, sure, take some work, but don’t require you to constantly battle yourself, always be vigilant or always have high standards for yourself.

It’s a common diet culture tactic to make you feel like if you ‘failed’ it’s on you and not the diet or the coach. You just didn’t work hard enough, you just didn’t sacrifice enough. Bullsh*t.

Like I always say, wellness and fitness should ADD to your life, not take away from it. Will you have to make adjustments in your schedule? Probably. Will you need to schedule things in? Probably. But it shouldn’t feel like turning your whole life upside down. Because if it does, you’re not going to stick to it. It’s not because you failed, it’s because it wasn’t sustainable and realistic for you.

Although fitness and nutrition are important, they’re not the only things that have an impact on our health

For example, social connection has an impact on our mental and physical health. So don’t forget to nurture your relationships and spend time with loved ones

Should I have done a big jump like this (running 2.7km to running 4km)? Nope lol but I felt good and wanted to challenge myself. I made sure to listen to my body and fuel myself before!

I kind of wanted to prove to myself that I COULD reach 5k. Next training session will be more reasonable lol

It’s been fun to challenge myself in a ‘I want to see what my body can do’ and not a ‘I want to reach 5k because running more will change my body’

Thank you for being on this running journey with me 🩷

Wellness is about being kind to yourself, adjusting as you need, not stressing out over it. I may sound like a broken record but ❗️wellness should ADD to your life, not take away from it ❗️

You should still be able to enjoy time with loved ones, take a moment to smell the roses and have hobbies other than fitness or wellness. ✨Wellness shouldn’t be your whole life, it should be part of it! ✨

What would you add to this list?

✨ BIG NEWS ✨

I have a online coaching app now!

A few of you said you missed having me as a personal trainer 🥹🥹 and the Patreon didn't work as I wanted it to. So now, the Patreon will be for early access to monthly workout videos and exclusive articles, etc.

The Everfit app is much better if you want

- coaching

- weekly check-ins

- being able to track your habits in the app (sleep, water intake, walks, etc)

- Workout assigned to you in a calendar with videos, or download the pdf!

- Inbox to message me whenever in the app (or you can send me DM's here, whatever works best for you!)

If you're only looking for support to implement habits without the workout program, Happy Habits is what you want!

Are you looking for a workout program without weekly-check ins? The Workout Program package is what you're looking for!

I'm really excited about this. I can't wait to start working with you again or to start working with you if we've never worked together before.

If you have any questions at all, please send me a message and I will be happy to answer them! I will make a video soon to show what the app looks like and how to use it for those who want to know before singing up!

Thank you for being on this journey with me and for trusting me with your wellness and fitness journey 🩷

I’m still recovering from getting sick so I decided to go for a walk instead of a run, and I’m sure my body appreciates that so much!

You don’t need to force yourself to run because that’s what your program says. Any good program allows you to adjust!

July’s pictures that never made the cut ✂️ because they weren’t ‘perfect enough’ for social media

We need to see more real life on social media. The comparison game is real! Humans are messy, life is messy. Social media shows us perfection. I think it’s time we all try to make a difference and show more realness 🩷

It’s always a good sign when the video starts with ‘my dog rolled in an unknown substance today’ 😂😂

I’m a big fan of these quick and effective circuit workout sessions lately. They’re a great way to do some strength training while also working on our cardio! Because they’re short, and fun (well, I think so! Haha) it means I want to do them more often which is a win!

Workout:
Squats x12
Bent over row x12
Chest press x12
Rest (30+ seconds)
Repeat 3x

Don’t forget to save this workout for later 🩷

✨ should I post more workouts??
