No pictures, but 33 people came out last night for Monday night bowling. What is so awesome about this, is that HALF of them were brand new bowlers this year! Centennial LBC is committed to encouraging and developing all our new players! Bowling is for LIFE!

Here is an opportunity for a late-season road trip to our neighboring province of Nova Scotia. Get your name in early, this will fill up quickly.

The Late Owl Mixed Fours is back! The Bedford Lawn Bowls Club are excited to be bringing back the event this year to the downtown greens of the Wanderers Lawn Bowling Club!

This day is all about good company, plenty of laughs, great shots, and having fun on the green. While we’ll keep score and crown some winners, the real goal is to get everyone together for one last great day of bowls.

Bring your friends, your teammates, your sense of humour and your best bowls game — and enjoy the fun and camaraderie that Bedford has always been known for!

Cost: $15 per person ($60 per team) - Bedford will cover the $15 registration fee for all youth/junior players.

- $5 - 50/50 – 1 Bowl Spider

☕ Light refreshments, tea and coffee will be provided. Please bring your own lunch to enjoy during the pairs game you are not playing in.

The weather couldn't have been more perfect for today's Open Pairs Club Championships. Twelve teams battled it out for top prize, with the team of Brian and Jenny Myers capturing the title. Second place was awarded to the duo of Randy and Barb Smith. ( Randy pictured below with rival Diane Trites in the final game)

Due to Environment Canada's prediction of heavy weather on Sunday, the decision was made to cancel the Olde Boys Tournament. So disappointing! Let's hope Mother Nature provides us with a proper deluge as a consolation prize.

Centennial LBC was the host of the Provincial Singles tournament today. At the completion of round robin play, Brian Myers of the host club edged out Chad Trites, also from the host club, for top honors in the Men's Division.
In the Ladies Division Centennial's Jenny Myers finished first in Section A and squared off against Section B winner Marilyn Taylor of Seaside Lawn Bowling Club. Marilyn won the first set but Jenny came out on top in the second set. Marilyn was triumphant in the tie breaker end, securing the title as Provincial Ladies champion.
