🏀 BECOME AN MBA JUNIOR REFEREE! 📣

Looking for a great way to stay involved in basketball, gain experience and earn some money this season? MBA’s Junior Referee Program is open to youth ages 12–17 who are interested in learning how to officiate and becoming part of our recreation basketball programs.

As a Junior Referee, you’ll have the chance to:

🏀 Learn the fundamentals of basketball officiating
👥 Work alongside experienced referees and mentors
💰 Earn money while gaining real game experience
📣 Build confidence, communication and leadership skills
🔥 Develop as an official throughout the season

New to refereeing? No problem! Previous experience is not required. MBA will provide training, guidance and ongoing support to help our Junior Referees learn, improve and feel confident on the court.

Whether you already love basketball or are looking for a new way to get involved, this is a great opportunity to see the game from a whole new perspective!

Last week was our All-Girls MBA Summer Camp, and what a week it was!

This was our fullest camp of the summer, and we couldn’t be prouder to see so many girls in the gym learning, competing, building confidence and having fun together. 🙌

A huge shoutout to all of our campers for bringing so much energy to the court all week long, and to our coaches for making it such a great experience.
We LOVE seeing this many girls excited about basketball in our community. 💛

Designed for young athletes of all experience levels, Jr. NBA provides a fun, positive and age-appropriate introduction to basketball, with a focus on building skills, confidence and a love for the game.

U7 Jr. NBA | Born 2020–2021
• One-hour Saturday sessions
• Fall, Winter & Spring sessions available

U9 Jr. NBA | Born 2018–2019

MBA is currently accepting applications for Provincial Team Coaches for the 2026–2027 Fall/Winter season!

We’re looking for coaches who are passionate about basketball, athlete development and creating a positive team environment while helping players compete at a higher level and represent MBA.

Provincial Teams:
U11 • U13 • U14

Whether you’ve coached provincial basketball before or are interested in taking on the opportunity for the first time, we encourage you to apply!

📣 RETURNING COACHES: All existing Provincial Team coaches who would like to coach again this season must also complete the application form. Please make sure to submit your application before the deadline.
