Over the next two weeks, 240 athletes from across New Brunswick will take part in camps at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, participating in games, practices, fitness sessions, and educational presentations.

Nous sommes heureux d’annoncer qu’à compter de la saison 2026-2027, HDM offrira les possibilités de hockey compétitif pour les athlètes féminines de notre communauté.

HDM prévoit offrir :

✅ Les Panthères AA U15

Cette initiative représente une étape importante dans la croissance continue du hockey féminin dans notre région, en offrant davantage d’occasions aux filles de se développer, de compétitionner et de jouer au sein de leur communauté.

We are pleased to announce that beginning with the 2026–2027 season, HDM will expand competitive opportunities for female athletes within our community.

HDM intends to offer:
✅ U11 AA Panthères
✅ U13 AA Panthères
✅ U15 AA Panthères

This initiative represents an important step in the continued growth of female hockey in our region, providing more opportunities for girls to develop, compete, and play within their community.
HDM Members will receive more information by email.

🗓️A public information session will be held at Uniplex – Salle Daniel on July 15, 2026 . All families from Zone A and Zone B are welcome to attend.

📢 Exciting Developments for Female Hockey in Southeast New Brunswick! 📢

The continued growth of female hockey in our region has created exciting new opportunities for our athletes.

Hockey New Brunswick has approved a pilot project for the 2026-2027 season that will allow Hockey Dieppe-Memramcook (HDM) to establish a dedicated female hockey structure and host AA female teams within their association.

As part of this pilot,
✅HDM will host:
• U11 AA Panthères
• U13 AA Panthères
• U15 AA Panthères
• Panthères Recreational hockey U7-U18

✅SEFHA will continue to host:
• U11 AA Fury
• U13 AA Fury
• U15 AA Fury
• U18 AA Fury
• Stars Recreational hockey U7-U18

✅The regional AAA Fury program will remain a collaborative program involving athletes from both Zone A and Zone B.

This initiative reflects the tremendous growth of female hockey in Southeast New Brunswick and creates additional opportunities for female athletes while maintaining strong regional partnerships.

An FAQ document will be distributed by email and posted on our website to help answer questions regarding the pilot project.

🗓️A public information session will be held at Uniplex on July 15, 2026 , and all families from Zone A and Zone B are welcome to attend.

We look forward to continuing to work collaboratively with our partners at HDM to support the continued growth of female hockey in our region.

SEFHA Annual General Meeting – Election Notice / Assemblée générale annuelle de l'AHFSE – Avis d’élection (le français suit)

The South East Female Hockey Association will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, May 20 at 7:00 PM at the CEPS (room TBD), and several executive and volunteer positions will be up for election.
We encourage members who are passionate about female hockey in our region to consider putting their names forward.

• Registrar
• Vice President, Zone A
• Director of Marketing & Website, Zone A
• Director of Discipline, Zone A
• Ice Coordinator, Zone B
• Competitive Director, Zone B

If you are interested in applying for any of these roles, please submit your expression of interest to [email protected] no later than Wednesday, May 6th.
Please note nominations will only be taken from the floor at the AGM if no one has expressed interest by email prior to the deadline.
Your involvement helps strengthen our programs, support our athletes, and grow the game. We look forward to seeing you at the AGM!
