Champions Martial Arts – Canada is proud to sign an MOU with the Research Institute of Taekwondo and Sports at Shinhan University, Korea.
The MOU was signed by Mr. Sang Jin Choi on behalf of Shinhan University and Grand Master Samer Kamal on behalf of Champions Martial Arts.
This partnership will focus on exchanging Taekwondo knowledge and experience, training and education, and working together to support the international development of Taekwondo.
Looking forward to a strong and successful collaboration.

Kukkiwon requires a minimum age of 53 and about 39 years of Dan progression.
As of June 2026, only 1,612 people worldwide had reached 9th Dan:
1,245 in Korea
367 outside Korea
The 9th Dan is more than a rank. It represents a lifetime of discipline, leadership, humility, and service to Taekwondo.
