Today belongs to our dearest friend, Robert. ❤️

Congratulations on being drafted by the Detroit Tigers. What an incredible milestone, earned through years of relentless work, sacrifice, resilience, and belief in yourself. We couldn’t be happier for you, and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes you.

What a privilege it has been to have front-row seats to our best friends, Jeff and Noemi’s, journey as parents.

For years, we’ve watched the early mornings, the late nights, the endless drives, the schedule juggling, the emotional highs and lows, the unwavering belief, and the quiet sacrifices that so few people ever see. They never chased the spotlight. They simply showed up, over and over again, because that’s what loving your child looks like.

Being there to watch the moment Robert’s dream became reality, surrounded by the people who love him most, is something I’ll never forget. It was one of those moments where everyone’s years of investment seemed to collide into a few unforgettable seconds.

Congratulations, Robert. You earned this.

And Jeff and Noemi… I hope you take a moment to let this sink in. This achievement belongs to Robert, but it’s also a beautiful reflection of the love, support, and foundation you’ve built around him every step of the way. We couldn’t be prouder to call you our friends, and we feel incredibly lucky to have witnessed this chapter alongside you.

Now go make Detroit proud. 💙⚾️

Graduation & Prom 2.0. ✨🎓 All in one day!

My heart honestly doesn’t have the words.

Mali, you have brought so much joy to my life. Watching you grow into this beautiful, kind, funny, thoughtful, resilient young woman has been one of the greatest privileges I’ll ever have. You make me proud every single day—not because of your accomplishments (although they’re pretty incredible), but because of the person you are when no one is watching.

You are one of my favourite people to laugh with, talk to, travel with, and just do life with. I couldn’t love you more, and I couldn’t be more excited to see what comes next.

Now… if we’re being honest…

Between graduation, prom, Prom 2.0, dresses, shoes, hair appointments, photos, and approximately 4,000 emotions, your mother is absolutely exhausted. 😂

Worth every second. Congratulations, sweetheart. I love you beyond words. ❤️

Happy Father’s Day, Dan.

One of the things I admire most about you is how seriously you take being a dad.

You care so much about the kids and their future. You want them to be happy, successful, capable, good people. You want them to have opportunities, confidence, and experiences that help them build a great life for themselves.

And that’s a lot to carry.

The older the kids get, the more I see how much thought, energy, and heart you put into helping guide them there. Not because anyone asks you to, but because that’s who you are.

You never stop thinking about them, cheering for them, worrying about them, believing in them, and wanting the best for them.

And then there are moments like this one, where it all looks easy and happy and full of light — but I know how much of you is behind it.

Not everyone gets to see how much you carry for the people you love, but I do.

Happy Father’s Day ❤️

Lately, I’ve been hearing the same thing from a lot of clients and members:

“Between restaurants, takeout, and social events, I just can’t stay on track.”

And while I completely understand the frustration, I think we’re often blaming the wrong thing.

The restaurant isn’t what’s determining your results.

Your choices are.

Because most restaurants offer options that can support your goals.

The challenge isn’t that healthy choices aren’t available.

The challenge is choosing them when the burger, fries, dessert, extra drinks, and oversized portions sound more appealing.

That’s not a restaurant problem.

That’s a decision-making skill.

And here’s the good news:

You don’t need to eat like an athlete to change your body.

You don’t need perfectly prepared meals every day.

You simply need to make reasonably good choices, consistently enough, for long enough.

The restaurant isn’t in control.

You are.

Love-hate relationships aren’t always meant to be fixed.
Mine is the cottage.
Some days it feels like a dream. Family. Friends. Traditions. Memories that will outlast all of us.
Other days, like today, it feels like six hours of physical labour, endless maintenance, and the realization that no matter how much you accomplish, there’s always more to do.
But maybe that’s the lesson.
The work is never going to be done.
Not on the cottage.
Not on the house.
Not on your body.
Not on your career.
Not on your life.
At some point, we have to stop waiting for everything to be finished before we allow ourselves to enjoy what we’ve already built.
Do the work. Take pride in the effort. Improve what you can.
Then stop.
Sit down. Look around.
And enjoy your perfectly imperfect life.

A little real talk for the perimenopause ladies...

Nobody warns you that you’ll be navigating heavy, unpredictable periods while trying to enjoy things you’ve spent months looking forward to.

Walking 20,000 steps a day, 30-degree heat, limited bathrooms, paying for bathrooms! Trying to figure out where the next bathroom even is!!! And somehow still attempting to look relaxed in vacation photos. 😆

If you’re in this season of life, I see you.

So many women are quietly navigating discomfort, fatigue, anxiety, hot flashes, sleep disruption, changing bodies, and periods that seem to have completely abandoned the rules.

And yet we keep showing up, we keep travelling, we keep adventuring, we keep living.

Not because it’s easy, but because we’re stronger than we give ourselves credit for.

So here’s to all the women making memories while managing things nobody else can see and keeping a smile on your face…most of the way!

Sitting on top of a place that truly feels like it should be one of the modern wonders of the world… listening to the wind, the birds, the silence, feeling completely connected to the earth — and wondering how I’m about to trade this for the chaos of Athens. 😂

And that’s where perimenopause has surprised me most. My nervous system no longer romanticizes crowds, noise, lights, smells, and overstimulation the way it once did. It makes me anxious and frankly highly irritable in an un proportional amount to what the situation deserves. It’s strange to feel deeply grateful for an experience while also knowing your body struggles to fully appreciate it.

So I’m reminding myself that maybe this next chapter of our trip requires a different pace and a patience I’m working towards acquiring in this new phase of my life 🤍

This nervous system symptom of perimenopause caught you most off guard. Do you have one that surprised you?

Upon her passing, my mom gifted my sister and I the opportunity to do something meaningful together with part of what she left behind… and we chose a small European adventure. 🤍

Yesterday, we lit a candle for her in the little church atop Skopelos — the iconic Mamma Mia church perched high above the sea. It felt emotional and surreal standing there together, thanking her for the life she gave us and for raising two daughters who, despite being very different people, remain close enough to share experiences like this side by side.

And getting to witness my sister experience Europe for the very first time has made it all even more special. 🤍

I’m feeling my best ❤️ You might be surprised at what I’m doing less and more of to have gotten to this place.

My mental and physical state at the end of 2025 made it very clear to me that something needed to change in 2026 for me to be living my best life.

Here’s what I’ve done so far and the effects are obvious to me inside and out.
