🔹Designed for board members and coaches, these 90-minute sessions will provide an overview of the CanSkate Excellence Program and updates to the Skate Canada Program Requirements.

🔹These sessions are required for all clubs and coaches at clubs that are renewing their CanSkate Excellence Recognition.

✅ Important: If your club earned its Level of Recognition between 2020 and 2022, you will be up for renewal during the upcoming season. All coaches actively coaching on a CanSkate session are required to attend a Coach Refresher Webinar as part of the Recognition Renewal process.

In preparation for the upcoming 2026-2027 Bring ON The Fun Series, Skate Ontario is excited to put out a Call for Interest for BOTF Host Clubs.

Skate Ontario is pleased to extend a huge congratulations to Victoria Bird of the Oshawa Skating Club , winner of the 2026 Ontario Skaters Promotional Contest Grand Prize—a brand-new 2026 Nissan Kicks, provided by Scarborough Nissan!

Victoria’s connection to skating comes through two her sons, who participate in the CanSkate Program at Oshawa SC. “Oshawa CanSkate was great,” she told Skate Ontario. “The boys both really loved their instructors. They made them feel so comfortable... It was a wonderful experience.”

Congratulations to the Bird family: Victoria, Cameron, Finley, and Weston, on this exciting win. We wish your family many safe and happy drives to and from the rink in the years ahead!
