Walk-Off Win for the Dry!

The Dartmouth Dry picked up a thrilling 5-4 walk-off victory over the Metro Brewers Senior on Thursday night at Beazley Fields.

The Brewers struck first in the fourth inning, taking a 2-0 lead before the Dry responded. Cam Rendell came through with a clutch double down the left field line to even the score at 2-2 in the bottom half of the inning.

In the fifth, Logan Raftus launched his first career NSSBL home run to give Dartmouth a 3-2 advantage.

The Brewers battled back, tying the game in the seventh before taking a 4-3 lead in the top of the eighth.

With the Dry down to their final chance, Jack Fader delivered the night's biggest moment. After a leadoff hit by Anthony McKinley, Fader crushed a two-run walk-off home run to right field, sending the home crowd into celebration and securing a 5-4 Dartmouth victory.

Hunter Canning earned the win in relief, allowing two runs over 2.1 innings while striking out three. Ryan Facchini turned in a strong start, giving up two runs over 5.2 innings and striking out six.

Offensively, Fader and Rendell each drove in two runs, while McKinley led the Dry with two hits. Dartmouth also played flawless defense, committing no errors on the night.
