Hi, on September 19th and 20th, my aunt will be taking on an incredible 100KM walk from Chilliwack to Vancouver to raise awareness and show support for women experiencing domestic and intimate partner violence. She will complete the 100KM journey on September 19th, followed by The Final Steps in Vancouver on September 20th, where she is inviting the community to join her and take those final steps together.

Almost four years after leaving an abusive relationship, my aunt is still rebuilding, still healing, and still learning what it means to have a life that truly belongs to her. This journey is a powerful reminder of her strength and resilience, while also standing in solidarity with the many women who are still experiencing violence and those who are finding the courage to leave. Through this walk, she hopes to raise awareness, inspire others, and remind survivors that they are not alone.

If you are able to donate to this cause, any amount can make a difference and go a long way toward helping women who may feel stuck, unsafe, or unsure of where to turn for support. All donations will go directly to SARA for Women, helping provide resources and support to those experiencing domestic and intimate partner violence.
