The 2.5 km Red trail for walking/cycling is open again. Thanks to the Owl's Rest Disc Golf Course and to Gilles for the trail clearing, there were a number of trees down. If you’re going out today get out while it’s still cooler!

The wind has caused a lot of blowdowns on the trail. It’s not recommended to use the walking/biking trail at the club.

Due to multuple downed trees and powerlines on various parts of the course, we are closed until the area is made safe. Clean up will start ASAP and we'll let you know when the course is open for play. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The Miramichi Cross Country Ski Club (131 Nelson Street) is requesting quotations from individuals and/or contractors for the bushwhacking (tractor or spacing saws) and clearing of any windfalls on approximately 20 km of trail. Eight km at 15 foot width and 12 km at 8 foot width. Work to be completed by August 31 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The ski club still needs volunteers for the crew looking after the drinks tent at the Irish Festival for Saturday July 18. Here’s the rates for disc golf, which will open for the season on May 1. You may want to install the u disc app on your phone before you play. The disc golf course is on ski club property and we do get a share of the revenue but it’s a separate organization and you pay your fees to them. See their page for all the details.

The Owl’s Rest Disc Golf course is located on club property. We’re partners in a good time! This will be the earliest they have opened I believe.
