Happy Canada Day awesome people. Fishing report for Doyles Brook, New Brunswick, Canada on the Main southwest Miramichi River…2026

I’ve had the pleasure of fishing with my brother and his son over the last couple days in Doyles Brook. Seeing lots of big fish. But they’ve been difficult to hook up on. But when you do, it’s worth the wait. We’ve been working with Sid at Trout Brook fly shop. To design some flies to get them to stick better when they hit.

If you think you got what it takes and you want to come try to figure them out, we have some openings starting Monday, for the Camper Boat Rental and the guided Fishing trips.

And for all you Fishing fanatics who would like to include Fishing in your summer vacations we’ve included, with your Camper/boat rentals, access to our tubes, canoes, and kayaks. so your Boat/Camper package ($250/night) now includes tubes and kayaks to expand your summer fun. So what your day could look like is Bass Fishing in the morning in the boat, tubing in the afternoon and Bass Fishing in the evening. We also have a huge floating island to which you can tie the tubes to and use as a swim platform. Also, for a small fee, we will run you up River to Blackville if you’d like to canoe and kayak back down to the camper. That takes four hours straight trip with a good wind at your back. we also have access to some great ATV trails. Pair your fishing with all the summer fun. Have a great Canada Day everybody and hope to see you soon. 🎣🇨🇦

Hello awesome people. Fishing report for the Main southwest Miramichi River in Doyles Brook New Brunswick for June 24th Wednesday 2026.

As you can see from the photos still some monster fish in the river. The ladies were here Monday and Tuesday and the gentleman was from this morning. He’s going try to bring his wife back for an evening charter🤞🎣. We fished all the way up to the bar just below the Quarryville Bridge.. We saw striped bass the whole way up chasing bait fish up on shore, a few still spawning, lots of quality bass in the river. We also followed a large fish that was heading up river. It seemed to be on a mission to get up river, it didn’t deviate too much, straight as an arrow, my guess would be a big salmon. My neighbour hooked a big hen the other day at prison Pool just up the Renous river not too far. What an amazing fishery we have here in Miramichi, get out and enjoy. FYI, today we caught one keeper 23 1/2 inches the rest were all oversized🎣🇨🇦

If you would like to stay updated follow our page🇨🇦 have a great rest of your week everybody. We also rent campers and boats. Check our website out for more information.

Hello awesome people. Fishing report for June 23rd 2026 in Doyles Brook New Brunswick Canada on the Main Southwest Miramichi River. The bass fishing has been lights out in the morning and in the evenings, slowing down around 11 am and picking back up around four. Sunny or overcast, this does not seem to affect anything with the afternoon bite. I believe the fish know how hard we’ve been fishing and want us to go back and take a nap for the afternoon. I’m booked up for the rest of the week and the weekend but have some Guided trips available and some campers available starting Monday of the upcoming week. Follow us for more updates. DM for availability and more information or just text or call us at (506) 625-1713. Have a great rest of your week everybody

Happy Monday awesome people.

Fishing report for the Main Southwest Miramichi River in Doyles Brook New Brunswick. Canada.

The Fishing has been incredible. Even better than the Fishing is the amazing people I meet. Two incredible families this weekend out making memories. I’d like to thank both families for sharing your photos with me, I really appreciate that.

Fly of the day was anything in the water!! They were, however, still taking short (remember what that means Emma?😁) and we were fishing really skinny water.

Our campers are booked this weekend, however, we do have some availability through the week and we do have some boats available for the weekend to rent. We also have some openings for Guided Boat Trip’s as well. Any spay casters out there…you’d be in heaven here. Hope to see you soon and have a great week.

Hello awesome people. Fishing report for Tuesday, June 9th from the Main southwest Miramichi in Doyles Brook New Brunswick. In a nutshell…for best results avoid the afternoon sun. water temperature sat around 63° only one undersized fish caught in both groups yesterday, morning and evening. Lots of short takes and bumps, lots of gaspereau still in the river, and the smelts are still coming in. Fly of the day was a long shanked baitfish pattern.

If you are interested in catching less schoolies and bigger Bass, come check us out. We rent campers and boats and offer guided trips. Of course you’re welcome to bring your own boat and leave it on our dock for your stay🇨🇦🎣

Here fishy fishy. Fishing report for Saturday, June 6, 2026. Main Southwest Miramichi River Doyles Brook. Something hatched out, there’re literally fish everywhere. The fishing has been lights out in the early morning slowing down around nine or 10 a.m. and then picking back up starting around five. The afternoon is still producing fish, but lots of bumps and many short takes. The last group in said the poppers were working well. Which is always a lot of fun with top water. The smaller bait fish patterns were also working as well. I will include a picture in the comments of our most popular fly over the last couple days. Tied and donated by my good neighbor, Charles. There is some availability in June for campers, boat rentals (no pleasurecraft operators card [PCOC] needed), and guided boat trips. Hope to see you soon, come live the adventure.

Hello awesome people, Fishing report for Doyles Brook on the Main southwest Miramichi river from June 1, 2026. The craziness continues as it looks like smelts are coming in. I noticed them about 2 o’clock in the afternoon when I was coming back in off the water and they were still going by when I left at dark. I was talking to one of the clients there this morning and the smelts are still swimming by. A small run of smelt came up on April 26. If I can, I’ll put the video in the comments, it was a very small run and never saw another one until now🤷 I am very curious to see how this is going to play out. Have a great day everybody and follow us for more updates🎣

FYI…The boat is a Canadian made Princecraft, big shout out to LJ Patterson’s and Miramichi Marine , absolutely love the boat

Hello awesome people. Fishing report for Sunday, May 31 in Doyles Brook, on the Main Southwest Miramichi River. As you can see from the picture tides have been quite high. The last high tide floated my dock, right off the pole, over 6 feet. These high tides have brought a lot of debris back in the water. Combined with the cold temperatures we’ve been having, Sunday morning we were sub 50 again at 49°. An 11° drop in temperature over the last couple days, the Bass have shortened up their strikes, you can tell this when you’re getting a lot of bumps put no takes. One tactic that helps when it gets like this is to trim your flies down to make them shorter. And this was the highlight of my day Sunday… we saw five salmon jump, definite run going up. What a river🇨🇦 and thanks Charles for saving my Barrels. Much appreciated.🍻 have a great week everybody🎣

Main Southwest Miramichi, Doyles Brook. To say the fish were a little tight lipped this morning would be an understatement. The water temperature had dropped back down to 51°, but it warmed up fairly quickly hitting 59 degrees late in the morning. When it was all said and done, we put seven keepers in the boat, a couple undersized, and a lot of short takes…getting bumped all day. We landed back at 1:30…these guys were so pumped the first thing they did when we landed on the docks was to rent a boat and head back out. The tug is the drug🎣 Hope to see you soon.
