Fantastic weekend of swimming at the Scarborough PanAm pool!

New warmup changes have just been sent out by the meet manager for this weekend's Mayor's Cup in Scarborough.

Warmups for both Saturday and Sunday are now 4:30 pm, with an estimated finish time for the session at 8 pm

Hi Tritons

After careful consideration, we are sad to announce that our Mighty Tritons 2022-23 season will be our last season. We just don’t have the numbers to continue to operate.

In the years before the pandemic, we had between 110 and 130 swimmers a year throughout the season. Since we started back up in September 2021, we’ve only had 30-35 swimmers at the start of the season, with a sharp decline in the second half. The reduced numbers just don’t provide enough funds to cover the cost of running the team.

We’d like to thank all the Triton swimmers, families and coaches who have been part of our program over the last 14 years . It’s been a privilege to work with so many wonderful people, and to be a part of their lives.

Remember, swimming is a lifetime skill, and we hope you have many happy swimming years in front of you.

We wish everyone the best going forward.

The meet package for our upcoming meet - Jun 10-11 - can be found at https://www.swimming.ca/en/meet/37793/
and click on the blue page icon beside the word 'Annual'

Basically, the meet is at the Scarborough Pan Am Sports
Centre. Saturday and Sunday warmups start at 3:00 pm.

2023 Mayor’s Cup – 32nd Annual – Swimming Canada

We are now entered into the Mayor's Cup meet on June 10 and 11 at the Toronto Pan Am Centre in Scarborough (not the Markham Pan Am Centre).

Competitive swimmers should let me know if the can or cannot make the meet.

Just a reminder that we have no practices on Good Friday. But we ARE swimming on Easter Monday

This is a gentle reminder that parents need to sign a new legal form from Swim Ontario (sent a few days ago), and reconfirm the swimmer information. Until the forms are signed, the swimmer isn't officially registered with Swim Ontario, cannot swim in meets, and technically we'd have no insurance for them.

This is fallout from the Swimming Canada hack from many weeks ago. It's completely out of our hands.

We've just sent out a team email that asks you to sign a new form from Swim Ontario, and then confirm your information. Until this form is signed, those swimmers will be in 'Account Pending' status, meaning they cannot be entered in any swim meet.

With this major storm suddenly upon us, and March Break (no swimming) next week, we've decided to cancel practice.
