There are only 9 days left until your Intuitive Tarot Workshop at the Loft Studios! I hope you're as excited as I am!
Tarot has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mom was the one who taught me how to play with the cards and she instilled in me the importance of remembering that the universe sends us signals in whatever way it can. Not only through the cards, but through nature, the media we consume, circumstances that arise, astrology, crystals, and everything in between. She cultivated my wonder and curiosity about the universe, and my ability to tap into my own inner knowing.
She taught me the difference between the thinking mind, and the knowing of the body and how our thinking minds don't always know how to process what our souls, or Source, are working to move through us to bring about healing and growth.
Because of this influence, I have never really stuck to using just one deck. There are many different ways to approach a problem, to find understanding, and to gain perspective. The more information we have, the greater our understanding of any given situation.
So for the last 20-years at least, I have used these 4 decks for my personal readings, for writing my horoscopes, and when I am giving a reading to someone else.
The Voyager Tarot by James Wanless
The Osho Zen Tarot
An I-Ching (Book of Changes) deck my husband gave me, translated from German by Anthony Haywood
The Medicine Cards by Jamie Sams and David Carson
The Voyager and Osho decks give me a look at the bigger picture with love and compassion, the Medicine Cards provide information from a nature based perspective, and the I-Ching doesn't pull any punches. It says it like it is.
I'm curious! What decks do you use, and why? Do you have one deck you stick with, or are you one of those people who has a tarot library and you pick and choose based on your mood?
Also, what's your take on the cards I pulled this morning asking about our workshop?
Please share in the comments!
And if you would like to join us on Sept. 26, there are still a few more spots. Register on my website!
